Dianne is a registered psychologist who has broad experience working with adults, families, children, and young people. Her areas of particular interest include parenting and attachment, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, domestic and family violence, neuroscience, grief and loss and trauma. She has extensive experience in working with children, including emotional and behavioural concerns.
Dianne has a keen interest in the neuroscience behind emotional and psychological distress and the neuropsychotherapeutic approach. Dianne utilises a range of psychological therapies and skills including child-focused counselling approaches, play therapy, parenting support/training, cognitive therapies, mindfulness- integrated therapies and neuropsychotherapy. Her work with clients also integrates expressive and play-based approaches as a way to facilitate a sense of safety, connection and engagement, and to safely explore and to express feelings and experiences.
