Ms. Scott holds a B.A. in psychology, an M.S. in counselling with a specialization in family therapy, and coursework toward a Ph.D. in health psychology that includes some positive psychology education, as well as additional education in wellness coaching. She has also completed courses in mindfulness and wellness coaching and has become certified in Quality of Life Therapy and Coaching (QOLTC). This education provides a background that covers not only the basics and history of stress theory, but recent education in newer fields that add a new piece to the stress management puzzle. Her writing style combines solid research with actionable steps in clear but engaging language that readers of all backgrounds can find accessible.
