Acclaimed creators Sally Morgan and Ambelin Kwaymullina celebrate individuality and joyous self-esteem, in bouncy, rhythmic prose and riotous colour.

Promoting self-love and acceptance in children. From their eyes, nose, to even their curly hair, to their body size, and their emotions, the main character a little girl goes through the book naming everything about herself that she loves. This is a great novel to introduce self-love into the minds and hearts of children.

Review:

“Very self-affirming, a great board book for toddlers and the pre-K crowd. Even babies could enjoy this book, since it has very bright colours and the rhymes integrate fun things like clapping and jumping. A great rhyming book as well as an action-prompting one for when you need to get the sillies out. Extra great for the rhyme that includes loving the “short and fat me” as well as the tall and skinny, setting up kids for body positivity no matter their shape. Good candidate for babytime and toddlertime, and probably all ages storytimes as well!”
